CIDC, as you may be aware is the apex organization, established by the Planning Commission, Govt. of India and Construction Industry.
It is to place on record that CIDC is a not-for-profit organization and being the apex organization, is responsible to do following, under the mandate received form various Govt. Organizations:
To evolve standards of Practice through joint working (with Indian and International Standard Organizations
To facilitate implementation of these through demonstrable models
To undertake value based assignments to instill good practices, thus developed.
To nurture human resources and build institutions.
