CIDC publishes Construction Cost Indices for various types of construction works, categorised in 11 different segments, for the last 20 years. These indices provide benchmarks for estimating the expected construction costs by indexing current costs to the costs of a base year. Currently these are published for 78 different Indian Cities and are used extensively in estimation, escalation, and claim evaluations.
To account for the changes in the cost of construction materials, technologies, methodologies, & processes CIDC is inviting inputs from manufacturers, suppliers, contractors, and other construction industry stakeholders for consideration and inclusion in the CCI calculation process.
